In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and convensions of real media products?
This prezi I made talks about the convensions of film noir and opening sequences, and the choices we made in order to break these conventions to appeal to a wider audience.
We decided to break alot of convensions to make our film fit more the neo noir genre. This is because we feel it would appeal to a wider, younger audience and not just the well educated older gentelmen that are normally associated with film noir. These are Slideshare's I created during the research period of film noir. They talk about the basic convetions of film noir and the traditional style of film noir.
